These "porchlight" wall mounts are one of our most popular mounting options because they allow an installer to suspend an IP or HDAVS dome or eyeball camera off a structure, pole, or wall while they contain & conceal wire connections and afford a measure of weather & sun protection. Domes & eyeball domes are the most vandal-resistant camera design since their smooth shape makes them difficult to damage and nearly impossible to pull down off a structure.
When attaching cameras on a smooth surface or the front of a building parapet, these add a stand-off angle that makes complete FOV coverage more complete and easier to achieve when framing a shot. The interior mount space under the dome also accommodates the camera's pigtail and allows weatherproofed connections to be further protected from vandalism or weather exposure or even completely encased with sealant. 3 versions pre-drilled to fit IC Realtime dome & minidome camera bases.
