These video-derived metadata tags ("red truck," "man in a black shirt") are like labels that ellaPro adds within it's monitored video feed before compressing, encoding, and then streaming it to your cloud video storage channels.
With the metatag labels already added by the ellaPro appliance to the video stream in real-time as its recorded, sorting through hours of video for a "red truck" or "Man with black shirt" becomes a 15-second task using normal language search terms such as BMW, Jeep, men in red or blue shirts.
