4 channel direct connect BNC analog video systems have been the most popular for small businesses & homes for years, based on the wide adoption of the original VCR-based 4 camera security recorders in the 1970s. Our latest 4 channel BNC input HDVR continues that dependable legacy with the HDVR-MX0402-1U5MP-AI2, which accommodates both 4 direct BNC cameras and 2 IP channels for a total of 6 recordable video & audio channels, and our HDAVS system’s "one wire video+audio+control” over coax capabilities.
SUPPORTING THE INSTALLED BNC BASE
IC Realtime continues to bring the latest recorder technologies to our legacy system supporting dealers and integrators who need a simple non-IP camera solution for smaller customers or need to replace a failed analog recorder. The unit’s rear coax camera ports auto-detect & switch to support AVS/HDCVI/AHD/TVI format cameras up to 5MP resolution or up to 2 network cameras up to 6MP and its processing rate has been increased to 32 Mbps incoming bandwidth. This means quick & easy existing coax camera system installs & upgrades, even in mixed camera format systems. If you are upgrading the cameras at the same time, the HDAVS technology in the MX0402-AI2 supports IP-like "one wire" video+audio+control over coax, for easy system wiring & configuration. For existing systems, the MX0402-AI2 includes a rear panel RS-485 control port to run older analog PTZs.

The latest version of our HDVR-MX0402-AI2 coax-based four-channel HD video recorders doesn’t just support multiple HD over coax & analog cameras, MX0402-AI2 has the latest tech built-in. MX0402-AI2 is facial recognition capable, providing Real-Time Face Recognition on any one of its 4 BNC channels to discern facial features, including gender, age, expression, glasses, mustache, mouth/mask, and can capture & record faces with metadata. And MX-0402-AI2 can add Ai searchable metadata tags to each record. The MX0402-AI2 can internally store a total of 20,000 face images in up to 10 built-in facial recognition databases. Each database face record can be updated with name, gender, birthday, address, or certificate types/numbers, to identify individuals in the database. Once set for recognition, FlexSmartAi MX-AVR series AVRs can issue a "STRANGER" alert if a detected face is not found in the database. The built-in Intelligent Motion Detection (IMD) perimeter monitoring uses a deep-learning algorithm for dependable IVS/trip-wire performance and fewer false alarms. The IMD algorithm analyzes motion and ignores random "pixel change" movements, like animal activity or leaves in the wind, but recognizes people and vehicle shapes, sending alarms only when human or vehicle intrusion is confirmed.
