Rugged and robust, with a vibration dampening design, this mobile series of DVRs is specifically engineered for installation in ships, cars, trucks, and other rough and tumble environments. The mobile DVR utilizes a laptop grade HDD in conjunction with a vibration dampening drive cradle, to create a ruggedized, mobile video recording solution. The HDD locks into the cradle with a standard tumbler lock, and can be unlocked and removed at days end to securely remove and review your video evidence later on. The DVR-704MSG-V5 also includes support for GPS, which tracks critical information such as positioning coordinates and land speed. Tracked information is overlaid and recorded with the video, creating a detailed travel record for each vehicle with this hardware installation. These DVRs are well suited for installations in: Delivery/Logistic Companies, Boat Fleets, School Buses, Taxis, Police Cars, as well as other large fleets of commercial vehicles. Like all IC Realtime series recorders, this device utilizes H.264E (Enhanced H.264) compression technology, enabling crisp image viewing with the least bandwidth consumption possible.
This unit adopts an embedded system design, as well as a Linux Operating System, resulting in high levels of stability, performance, and most importantly: reliability. In addition, this unit is fully operational from remote locations (Search/Playback/Backup/Configuration) over standard Ethernet networks.
