The AVS-1800 series is the latest breakthrough in HD over COAX technology. AVS technology enables the greatest streaming resolution possible (720), over traditional COAX cable. This cutting edge break through enables video, audio, and PTZ data transmission over a single COAX cable, at distances of up to 1500'. The AVS-1800 series recorders will record and stream 720P resolution at 30 FPS (frames-per-second) on every input, giving it high-end features while maintaining a low price tag. This DVR is well suited for installations such as: large offices, financial institutions, educational institutions, and gambling establishments (Casinos, etc.). By using this device, you can effectively retrofit previous standard definition analog systems with high definition video, and minimal effort. Like all IC Realtime series recorders, this device utilizes H.264E (Enhanced H.264) compression technology, enabling crisp image viewing with the least bandwidth consumption possible. This unit adopts an embedded system design, as well as a Linux Operating System, resulting in high levels of stability, performance, and most importantly: reliability. In addition, this unit is fully operational from remote locations (Search/Playback/Backup/Configuration) over standard Ethernet networks.
